Starting from Lugano, you reach Tesserete along a flat, green cycle path, before entering the forest of San Clemente on a gravel track. This stretch is enriched by an art trail that includes the remains of a medieval village and a restored tower. The route continues to Origlio, with its charming village centre and picturesque little lake, a place of great natural value. After a descent to Taverne, you climb back up to Rivera along the Vedeggio river, passing through Soresina and the recreational area of Rivera. The return to Lugano leads through Bioggio and an agricultural zone towards Vezia and finally Lugano.
