The route begins above the Laghetto di Muzzano, then continues along the Vedeggio river, discovering the plain of Agno. From Bioggio you climb towards Cademario, passing through the Ronchi vineyards. After descending to Ponte di Vello, you follow the Magliasina river to the Maglio del Malcantone, a charming spot with waterfalls and an ancient mill. The journey continues through Breno, Fescoggia and Vezio, crossing chestnut forests, before returning to Miglieglia, where you can visit the historic village centre and optionally climb Monte Lema. The route crosses the woods of Monte Mondini, then enjoys the lakeside promenade of Caslano and the mouth of the Magliasina. The final panoramic stretch along the Parco Tassino concludes this adventure immersed in nature. Along the route there are ten information panels describing historical, cultural and natural details about the places passed through.
